Today a magnitude 5.5 earthquake stuck Venezuela approximately 6.8 miles (11 km) S of Sanare, Venezuela and 176 miles (283 km) S of Willemstad, Curacao at around 06:40:12 local time (11:10:12 UTC).

The earthquake was located 9.646°N 69.647°W at a depth of 6.2miles (10 km). There have been no reports of damage in the surrounding islands at the time of this news post.
